Our story
Est. 1979About Jones & Jansen
As the daughter of two ultimate cooking enthusiasts, Jones grew up surrounded by pots and pans. Her maxi cosi was literally on the stove numerous times, of course when the fire was not on. After studying commercial economics, Jones took over her father's company.
This was a small kitchen shop in Geertruidenberg, a town not far from Breda. He ran it for about 35 years since 1979. Jones' mother cooked in her own restaurant for many years.
The “stove” was a stove from the Angelo Po brand, the parent brand of Steel Cucine. With her love for food and kitchen utensils, it made sense to follow her father's lead.
However, due to the growing online world, Jones decided that it was more sustainable not to rent an expensive storefront, but to serve everyone online. This is how Jones & Jansen grew from a family business with a store to a family business online and with the most extensive collection of Steel Cucine products. However, expertise, service and personal contact have always been the core of the family business and it still is. Because at Jones & Jansen we connect directly with the source, which is efficient, more sustainable and cheaper for everyone.

Jones & Jansen
SINCE 1979 Jansen kitchen store.
Daan Jansen started his kitchen shop in a small street in the Brabant town of Geertruidenberg in 1979. It can be seen in this photo, the building with the 5 upstairs windows.
The store sold pots, pans, stoves and was one of the first in the Netherlands to sell the microwave. The store was a household name in the town and far beyond. The family still lives down the street, a few doors away. The passion and knowledge is still there.
Cooking & Kitchens is in our DNA.
With mother Patricia, who ran a cooking studio for years, Jones could often be found in the kitchen, where as a young girl she literally grew up among the pots and pans. The feeling of hospitality, personal contact and thinking along with our expertise (and cooking) is in our DNA.
Our goal is to help everyone as best as possible. We had guests in the cooking studio and that is how we treat our customers.
Our vision.
In a time of online purchases, personal contact is often hard to find. Although our kitchen store in Geertruidenberg no longer exists, we do want to offer that personal service. That is why we like to receive our guests/customers in our showroom, we always answer the phone or call back as quickly as possible.
With us, the customer is not a number, but a guest.
